1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Marigold House website and your participation in any programme offered by Marigold House ("we", "us", "our"), operating from Jalan Gasing 34, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

By visiting this website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in a programme, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enrol in our programmes.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which together form the full agreement between you and Marigold House.

2. Our Programmes

Marigold House offers the following property literacy programmes:

  • Reading Property Documents (Workshop) — A two-evening workshop. Fee: RM 580. Includes a printed glossary.
  • Property Literacy Reading Group — A six-week group programme. Fee: RM 1,840. Includes a printed reading companion and access to a moderated peer forum.
  • Annual Property Literacy Track — A twelve-month learning track. Fee: RM 4,540. Includes monthly evening sessions, quarterly reading assignments, and a printed annual companion.

Programme schedules, facilitators, session venues, and included materials are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes that affect confirmed enrolments.

3. Enrolment and Booking

A place on any programme is confirmed only upon receipt of payment in full (or an agreed deposit, where applicable) and a written confirmation from Marigold House. Submitting an enquiry form or expressing interest does not constitute enrolment.

We reserve the right to decline any enrolment request at our discretion and without the need to provide a reason.

Places are limited and allocated in the order in which confirmed payment is received.

4. Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment details and accepted methods will be provided at the time of enrolment confirmation. Fees must be settled in full before the first session unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed in advance.

Marigold House reserves the right to revise programme fees. Any revision will apply only to new enrolments made after the date of the revision notice.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation by you: If you need to withdraw from a programme, please notify us in writing at [email protected] as early as possible. The following applies:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the first session: full refund of fees paid, less any administrative costs already incurred.
  • Cancellation 7 to 14 days before the first session: 50% of the total programme fee will be retained.
  • Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the first session, or after the programme has begun: no refund will be issued. Where possible, we may offer a transfer to a future cohort at our discretion.

Cancellation by us: If Marigold House cancels a programme for any reason prior to commencement, all fees paid will be refunded in full. We will not be liable for any additional costs you may have incurred in anticipation of the programme (for example, travel or accommodation).

Rescheduling by us: We reserve the right to reschedule individual sessions within a programme due to facilitator availability, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable advance notice will be given wherever possible.

6. Programme Conduct

Participants are expected to engage with sessions respectfully and in a manner consistent with a shared learning environment. Marigold House reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive or contrary to the wellbeing of the group, without refund.

Session materials, printed companions, and digital resources shared during a programme are for the personal use of the enrolled participant only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without our written permission.
